After fifteen relentless years of work—with just two or three – one week of vacation squished in between—I found myself burned out, exhausted, and stuck in the daily grind. As a father, husband, and provider, I felt the weight of responsibility pulling me deeper into the American rat race. I was longing for something more—something freeing, meaningful, and worth waking up for.

So in August 2025, I made a decision: enough was enough.

I started looking very seriously at retiring early. I started looking at finances and laid out a plan on how to make my dream come true. I launched a YouTube channel to help others like me—people planning for retirement and searching for a life beyond the routine. I chose to build my next chapter in Southeast Asia, where freedom, affordability, and adventure come together.
